I brought some DVDs from the U.S. that do not have subtitles but do have closed captioning.

Any ideas on how to get the closed captioning to display? It's in English, but I figure this would help Koreans who are fairly fluent.

As far as I can tell VLC doesn't display the captioning. Will Korean TVs open the closed captioning, if you can figure out the Korean menus?

I've put them on the hard drive and they play great, except for the captioning.

Any ideas?
