| They are two separate things. One is your pension. You contribute 4.5% to this. Your school matches it. The other is your severance pay which should be equal to your salary for one month less taxes. Pension is not taxed again. |

Cool, thanks for the reply. Any idea of the time frame for how long it takes to get our pension back?

| I am not entirely sure, but it should be transferred to your account within a month or so. It is in the sticky I'm sure. Severance should be paid with your last pay or before you leave. |
