Do Oriental Medicine specialists treat female sexual dysfunction?
If not, can someone please refer me to a doctor in Seoul?
I'd rather not wait go to Canada to take care of this, as it is somewhat urgent.
Thank you for any help you can give me. |

you are in luck that we live in Asia.
Take horny goat weed (called umyangwak here), mixed with red ginseng. I guarentee that will rid you of your problems. They have it here. Find the oriental medicine district of your city. Every big city has one. Often they will have pictures of deer with antlers on them (deer antler is a huge aphrodesiac and sexual dysfunction cure symbol here in asia) |

My doctor gave me something with deer antlers in it for my chronic colds here. Did nothing for my colds, but did up my libido significantly. |

I heard the spleen of a still-living cat will cure what ails you. The hard part is you have to eat it right out of the cat before all life ebbs from its body. Trust me, you'll want a bib.
Or, I don't know, you could always give medical science a shot. |

FDS is mostly a result from oral contraception or mental afflictions, like stress, depression, etc. In rare cases is someone diagnosed with uterine/ovarian cancer or polyps, and in that case they need medicine. It's really a horrible syndrome for women to have: lack of interest in sex, pain during intercourse/orgasm, inability to orgasm...
Racetraitor you should be a bit more sensitive! Imagine if something like that happened to your person! |

Oriental Medicine is not witchcraft and it provides some effective treatment for many chronic conditions. There are Oriental Medical Doctors who approach their work using a scientific method and provide a valuable service to their patients.
People shouldn't be so quick to judge these matters in such a black and white manner. |

I'm sure there are some herbal treatments that do work, but it's mixed in with unscientific stuff like acupuncture and aromatherapy and relies on faulty assumptions such as the notion that chi runs through your body, as well as the boiling cats and grinding up rhino horns type remedies. |

Sexual dysfunction and thyroid dysfunction are linked - you might want to get a blood test for this -
I was diagnosed over a decade ago - was shocked how horny I became w/i a few days of starting thryoid supps!!
it's a general apathy as well - you don't care about anything, sex included, but physiologically you just can't get that excited sexually - |

If not is there anything that supresses the libido? The wife tell me I need to calm down all the time. |

Wow I agree with Dr. Love for once.
Racetraitor must have a Phd in medicine with advanced studies in Oriental Med as he knows so much. |

Yes I am serious. I have taken umyangwak (horny goat weed) and have incredible success with it. It is a very well known aprhodesiac in Asia going back hundreds of years. Combine it with gingseng (insam) which is an all around cure, and they might even be able to put in more herbs in there. Your problem most likley is low testosterone. I know you are a woman but low testestorne will kill a woman's sex drive as much as it will a man. In today's world we are bombarded by so much estrogen (it is in the water we drink (tap), a lot of food we eat, plastics, SOY is a big estrogen provider) is not good, estrogen kills testosterone and also makes people gain weight. Someone on here mentioned deer antlers - this is one of, if not the most powerful natural aprodesiac you can get, however it is the most expensive, much more than umyangwak and insam. I went to the oriental medicine district in Daejeon (easily identifiable by the banner with deers all over it, a symbol of fertility in asia) and got an asian medicine practioner to make a custom mix for me. I told him exactly what I wanted. they provided it in liquid form in plastic packs (3 x daily, warmed up and drank) They are helpful and will do the same. Ultimatley you will have to do more than just take herbs (although the umyangwak you will feel incredible!, you will also have much more energy) in the long run to correct this problem. The internet and google are your friend. start reading up on this subject and find all the info about this you can, there is plenty out there. Then you will change your life gradually. You will learn about the different hormones, diet choices, nutrition etc.
I don't know where the oriental medicine clinics are in seoul but I know for a fact they have them if I can get it here in tiny little daejeon.
