So I bought some steaks from Cosco, wrapped them individually with cellophane and froze them. Monday morning I took one out and let it thaw on the counter without unwrapping it. Turns out I went out to eat Monday night so I thought I would put it in the fridge and cook it Tuesday. Come Tuesday I was too busy to cook it and now it is Wednesday. I can't even cook it today.

So my question is can I cook a steak, have it taste good and not get sick on Thursday after the steak has been in the fridge for the last 3 days?

3 days is a little long. Smell it. If you have any doubts, chuck it.

the thing is meat hangs for days before it is sold, Fresh meat is not as delicious if eaten....a good steak is 'cured' for awhile....so....you'd think a few days wouldnt harm it really....

but yeah smell it, i think amonia smell means its off??
