|
|
So I bought some steaks from Cosco, wrapped them individually with cellophane and froze them. Monday morning I took one out and let it thaw on the counter without unwrapping it. Turns out I went out to eat Monday night so I thought I would put it in the fridge and cook it Tuesday. Come Tuesday I was too busy to cook it and now it is Wednesday. I can't even cook it today.
So my question is can I cook a steak, have it taste good and not get sick on Thursday after the steak has been in the fridge for the last 3 days? |

3 days is a little long. Smell it. If you have any doubts, chuck it. |

the thing is meat hangs for days before it is sold, Fresh meat is not as delicious if eaten....a good steak is 'cured' for awhile....so....you'd think a few days wouldnt harm it really....
but yeah smell it, i think amonia smell means its off?? |
