I was in the grocery store today and they had strawberry plants for sale so I picked up a few. However, I know nothing about gardening, so I'd appreciate any advice.
I'm wondering if they can go outside yet, and if not, when would I move them out? I live in Daejeon, so it's still pretty cold some nights. I have an enclosed balcony that faces south in my apartment, so I could put them there, or I could put them outside on the roof of my building where they'd get unlimited sunshine.
Also, I assume they need to be watered daily - is that correct?

Thank you

Strawberry plants can overwinter outside but I'd guess yours have been pampered & the shock now would probably kill them. Your cool balcony will be better at this point then put them rooftop in the spring once the chance of freezing is past.

Keep the soil moist but not wet, which might or might not mean daily watering. Stick your finger in the soil to check before watering.

Strawberries are heavy feeders. That means once they're outside they're going to need fertilizer (& sunshine) if you want plump juicy fruit. Ideally you can find a balanced organic fertilizer at your local plant shop.

Best luck.
