Does anyone know how long it takes to get a diploma apostilled from overseas? I assume I need to send it to the US and have an agency do it. Any ideas? Confused

I assume fast. I had my done in state, while I was there, and it took less than 3 minutes. Therefore, I assume it would take just over the time it takes to mail.

It will probably depend on your state's procedures, but for me it did take about 5 minutes for the apostille once I had all the necessary documents. I had to have my diploma and transcripts notarized by my university as well as have them sign a letter, but this was for GA. Here's the link for FL (making an assumption there based on your avatar!) and it seems they have a slightly different procedure:

The apostille has to be done in the state where you graduated I think, as the state will only affix an apostille to a document notarized in that state and the university has to be involved in the notary process-- at least this was my experience!

Good luck!
