Thats a strange comment, because the DS doesn't need to be hacked to play downloads as long as you have the special game cartridges, such as the M3 Real or R4.
The only time there were DS's with hacked firmware were when there were no special carts that could run in the DS game slot, and had to run in the GBA slot instead.
If thats the case, the old GBA slot ones really suck in comparison. |

If you live in Seoul just head down to Yongsan and pick up a used one at the electronics market. That's where I got mine. It was about 100,000 and actually in very nice condition and works fantastic.
You can also pick up a game cart such as a r4 or ttds for around 20,000 and purchase the memory separately. Don't worry about the games. You can download those yourself using torrents. Installing them is super easy too. |

| Anyone been to yongsan lately? I really want the nintendo DSi, the thinner one with the sd slot and cameras etc. I bet the guys there have imported them from Japan already. |
