How is it? Is Everland really the shit? Is the surrounding wall appropriate for exercise activities? Do sushi/thai/vietnamese restaurants abound? Is it possible to join a gym? Any other random information is appreciated.

The surrounding wall you refer to is much more central, around one old district. It's very nice to look at, but there are better paths for exercising. There are many reservoirs intended for exercise. Regular gyms are probably everywhere, as are Japanese and Vietnamese restaurants. Not sure about Thai. Everland is outside city limits. Let's see, other random information: there are five subway stops inside the city, with plans to build more stretching east. There are four gu districts. Suwon is "famous" for galbi.
