Does anyone know of a good oral surgeon in or near Seoul? We are not able to communicate in Korean yet so an English speaking doctor would be great. Wife thanks you her tooth is killing her. |

I started going to Seoul National University Dental Hospital for an orthodontic/orthognathic issue this week. The doctors I met with spoke pretty good English. I don't know about how SNUDH compares price-wise with clinics but I have a feeling it's more expensive here, but they seem to have good facilities.
Their English website is here http://www.snudh.org/eng/index.htm and the hospital is off Hyehwa station, line 4, exit 3. |

JSK- thanks for the info. we will start there. As for cost. Being able to sleep is worth just about any amount of Won. Cube |

I've been to Seoul Natl Uni Dental Hosp and was horrified at how run down it is and not very clean. They also don't treat foreigners very well - even worse than normal (whatever that is).
Yonsei has a dental hospital/school attached to Severance Hospital - just go to the 5th floor of Severance, walk to the back and you'll see the skywalk to the Dental Hospital.
lots of good dentists and most speak E but as everywhere else, few of the staff do but am sure you will find someone there who will help you - have been going there for several years - very good care and reasonable.
just had an emergency root canal - 21,000 won- very good I think. |
