"Pyramid of Dreams" is part of the Sunday evening program "Sunday 101%," which airs on KBS every Sunday at 6:30 p.m. A group of 10 recent college graduates looking for employment go through a series of obstacles and in the process are eliminated one by one after discussions and votes. Think "Survivor," only the backdrop is not the terrifying wilderness but instead today's terrifying job market and the grand prize a position at a top conglomerate. Despite the successful employment rate of the show, viewer responses have been mixed.
Jeon Jin-hak, producer of "Pyramid of Dreams" said viewers' reactions to the show might have to do with "cultural differences." Unlike Westerners, "South Koreans are not straightforward and feel uncomfortable when it comes to criticizing others," Jeon said.

they are not straight forward, more like a little sideways.. they don't criticize themselves.. they just criticize the foreign world in a round-a-bout way by saying everything in korea is better |
