|
|
Want to get your feedback on this. A good friend and doctor are both very much into this way of eating. It suggests that certain blood types do well by eating certain foods and avoiding other things. I myself am a bit skeptical, but am open to the possibility. Might give it a shot for one month. What do you all think?
Thanks in advance for your input.
BTW, here is the website:

My father is type A and I'm type O and we've loved pretty much the same foods.
I have had maybe two stomachaches in the last quarter century.
I have read up on blood type diets and it's based on hogwash science, which anyone who googles it can find out in seconds. |

It sounds pretty stupid to me.
The good doctor in charge of the website you linked to is a doctor of naturopathic medicine, with is just another way of saying he doesn't want to do research to back up his claims. |

They aren't immune to quackery (although generally more resistant). Ask him to rifle through his medical journals to find some studies on it. |

| Anyone that knows middle-school level science could tell you why this idea is idiotic, therefore you could make a LOT of money in Korea making crap food and drink for "special" blood types. |

| To a degree is true but most of it is BS. For example milk tolerance, I have none but most dutch people have no problem with it. I have no problems with protein intake but some races of people have a harder time with proteins. I think it depends more on your race then anything else. |

My mom owns a health food store back in the States. Although I have no personal experience with the diet I did meet some of the customers who swore by it. All I really know about it is if you want any benefits from the diet you must be committed to it for the long haul.
I also suggest asking somewhere other than Dave's about this or any other questions you may have these days. |
