My job is about gone right now. We haven't been paid in 2 weeks, and I keep receiving the "I pay you tomorrow" response every time I speak to my boss. I've lost faith in actually getting paid, and I doubt he's ever going to give me a LOR either at this rate because the guy refuses to believe his business is going to fail. In the end, I'll probably get one, but it's going to involve pulling teeth (something I'm quite willing to start doing right now).

Anyway, I'm looking to find reliable recruiters to find another job while I'm here. I got this job from someone else contacting me for it directly, so I've never even gone the recruiter route even to get here. This job just couldn't survive an economic downturn. I'd appreciate any help here because I'm really not sure what to do next. Yeah, "find a new job" is great advice, but I'm past that step and now looking to actually do that. Unfortunately, I've never had to do that here before. I don't even know the procedure once I do manage to do it, other than what might seem common sense.

Sorry, but no recruiter can assure you a job that will be good for a whole year.

If I may, CHILL

Here is what I suggest:
1.get an executive decision in writing
2. Despite a negative decision you now have something to work with
3. Operationalize the data.
4. Remember why you came to Asia in the first place. Don't let a egomaniac hagwon boss tool you.
5. Aspire to your goals. Where do you want to be 2 years for now? Despite the falling Won, one can anchor someplace safer and better than here.
