I've been offered a contract with Kids College in Seoul. I've spoken to a current English teacher there and he loves working for them. He just signed on for his 5th year there. He told me that they have a good curriculum and he gets along well with his bosses.

However, I've read so many awful things about Kids College on this site. Should I go off of what I've read here or what the teacher at the school told me?

never worked there so can't help you directly; but I can say that FTs don't always support each other - in fact they can screw you just as easy as anyone else can.

in fact, a lot of the male FTs who stay at hakwons for some years usually are married or have K gfs and are firmly emeshed in the system. I wouldn't go so far as to label them apologists but again, they won't necessarily be your best friend if things go downhill, either.

did you post your contract up on the contract sticky above? I'd recommend doing that as well. you're right to ask about Kid's College - it's large enough I've heard of it and many others have as well - I'm sure you'll get some more direct responses than this.

also remember tho if there's a FT who has been there 5 years maybe they also are logged on here to this forum - ok?
