If one started with EPIK in 2008, re-signed for 2009, does one receive 2,000,000 won for the contract renewal allowance? or does this apply at the end of the 2009 contract and you can only claim it if you re-sign at the end of 2009? (ie., you're coming back for more fun in 2010)
"Employer shall provide Employee with contract renewal allowance of 2,000,000 Korean Won after the commencement of the renewed term" |

What's difficult to understand?
The 2008 contract says they will pay for return airfare if you re-sign (for 2009).
The 2009 contract says you will receive a W2,000,000 "Renewal Allowance" if you re-sign (for 2010).
Changes in the contract are not retroactive. |

| A little confusion appeared as it seemed like too good a deal for the 2009 contract, but it seems that's your return flight home if you re-sign |

Right... there's no provision for airfare in the 2009 contract. They changed 'renewal airfare' (2008) to a 'renewal allowance' (2009). |
