You'd think more than two months off would be plenty and I'd be itching to start my new job, but that is not the case. I don't officially start for another week, but next week I'll be busy with pre-job meetings and the visa run and stuff, so my vacation is over now.
I'm bummed.  |

Oh, it's apparently not clear from the OP... this was strictly UNpaid vacation as in unemployment.
But even the thought of getting my first paycheck in two months doesn't make me feel better about going back to work. |

It was the same story for me back in August. I took the whole summer off (unpaid) and went traveling around Eastern Europe and CIS. By the end of the summer I was seriously cash strapped and had to ration my money until my first payday at the end of September. I actually lived off 3 Euros for the last week of Sept! No B.S.
Lack of money is a great diet though! I was looking good for the start of the school year. |

I'm going to go backpacking across Cambodia.
