can I work with her once a week.

If I'm in a PS, can I say yes?

If yes, who do I tell what I'm doing? is there a set procedure to follow to make sure it's all legal?

Seems like a good way to kill an afternoon instead of warming this here seat.

is she paying you? If your being paid from someone other than your employer to teach herer (for example, her paying you), then it wouldn't be legal. But why do you care so much whether its legal? I would just do it anyways.

If she's going to be paying you, why don't you ask the school principal directly. That way, you cut out the middle woman and get paid more from your school directly.

Well I'm not doing it for free!!

I just thought you had to go through a whole heap of BS to work two jobs. This is just a little thing on the side, just 3 hours a week, if she pays cash and I get the thumbs up from the P or VP I'll be sweet? I guess it's not really legit though is it as I'm earning money out of contract without telling the authorities.

Why do I care? because I'm such a law abiding foreigner Very Happy

she got me in the photocopy room with a heap of other teachers present so I couldn't talk money, so you reckon around 80,000 for 3 hours?

I do 2 after school classes a week. We also have an after school teacher who teaches probably 3 times a week.

Shall I ask my Principal if I can do her classes and ask him to fire her. Would it work? Laughing

I think your school principal is getting a nice kick back (money and occasional room salon treat) from the after school program so it won't work for you.

30,000 won (40 min class) x 4 classes= not a bad little bit of pocket money just to read out of a book and ask some questions to my students with a K teacher present, pity it's just the once a week.
