Sorry if this information is floating around on here somewhere, but I don't really feel like sifting through everything.

I'm on an E2 now and came to Korea after the new regulations went into effect, so I did the criminal record check, the consulate interview in my home country, etc.

I plan on staying with my current company but moving to a different branch for my next contract after a 2 month stay at home. What do I need to do to get the new visa?
Do I need to get a background check again?
Do I need to send in my degree again?
Do I need new transcripts?
I'm pretty positive I don't need to do another consulte interview, provided I don't overstay my current visa.

Does anyone know, or are the current rules too all over the place to have a definite answer?

You will need a new visa and therefore all your documents again. You should be able to skip the interview because you have already had an E-2 (assuming your Immi record is 'clean').
