Hello all,

couple of questions in this post:

1. where is it possible to watch UFC events in Seoul?
2. where is it possible to buy beer in bulk (i.e. a 24) in Seoul?

serious replies are much appreciated

For UFC, we want to watch the live events going on in the States. We want to go out to a bar so I was hoping somewhere in Seoul played it.

As for beer, none of the marts in our area seem to have like a case of beer (24 or even a 12 or 6 pack). They just sell 40's or individual bottles. I guess I need to find a Costco.

Yeh, sorry....someone will know about UBC tho. Give it a day or two

(Actually try a local "WA Bar." Just go right in your local one and ask.

Beer in excess: definitely get yourself to a grocery store (mart) of some sort and you'll find lots of bulk options. Some bars (shops) handle kegs here, ya know Wink

Ok, awesome. Thank-you.

To anyone who can answer the UFC question. If you know anything about buying UFC on TV here at home, that would be useful too.

Hey man.

You can normally watch UFC on cable television on a channel called Super Action. I don't know how to check the schedule, but if it's the Diego Joe fight you are talking about, it'll be playing really early in the morning here. If indeed it is on Super Action, you'll be watching a Korean broadcast of it. They show the fights, but no Rogan or Goldie. Also, you won't be able to hear what the winners say after their fights.

Another option is a program called Sopcast that you can download for free. Sopcast is a program that streams video content. In Sopcast you can search for MMA and you'll find the UFC fight for sure. Make sure you know when it starts. The problem with sopcast is that the quality is low as it is a live stream on the internet.

I don't know of anywhere in Seoul that shows the UFC. If anyone does, I'd like to know for sure.

Lotte Mart and other supermarkets as oppossed to mini marts. case of case arount 26,000 or 6 packs just over 8,000. Buy beer individually at mini marts is expensive as they jack the price. Good luck and happy drinking.
