Been a while since I lived in Seoul and was just wondering what`s best to take to the airport from Sinchon - bus or subway? (Just stopped in Seoul for a short trip)

Didn`t realise there was a subway to Inchon airport until I looked it up on the map.When was it completed ? and is it faster to take than the bus?

Also, where exactly is the bus stop for the limo bus in Sinchon? By the Hyundai dept store I presume? and in which direction goes to the airport?

I can't remember if it's directly in front of the Hyundai department store, but it's no more than a couple buildings down from it. I've never actually taken the subway to the airport, so I can't speak for that. I just take the bus - much faster and less of a hassle.

Takes just over an hour on the subway and costs about 5k
Takes about an hour on the bus and costs 8k

Bus is more comfortable if you have luggage. Plus getting a seat on the subway isnt always easy.

Airport Bus 6002 goes to and from Shinchon. It costs 9000 won payable with cash or T-Money card and takes 45-50 minutes. The bus comes approximately every 15 minutes.

When going to the airport you want to wait at the bus stop on the same side of the street as Hyundai Department Store. The bus stop is not right in front of Hyundai, but just down about 40 meters (just past KFC).

Take the bus and it's 8,800 won if you pay by smart card.
