Hi,

Could someone please assist me in dialing a UK number? It's for a boxing merchandise store.

This is the number given on the website: 08714 266800

I've done searches, but can't seem to get the proper numerical combination to get the call through.

Thank you.

The dial code is 44. Omit the first digit and insert the code.

448714 266800

Thanks for the response, but I still couldn't get through. I put a "1" in front of the number you typed, and I also tried dialing the number exactly as you have it (with no "1").

At the risk of sounding really dumb... can someone tell me the EXACT number I would dial from Korea, in order to get through?

The phone # is here: http://www.boxfituk.com/contact-us/info_2.html

Thanks again. Believe me, I wouldn't be subjecting myself to this public embarrassment if it weren't important.

That isn't a normal area code for the UK - it all starts as 01 something (for example, Nottingham is 0115, Derby is 01332, London was 0171 or 0181- now 020).

0800s numbers are either free number or premium numbers... in which case you cannot dial from overseas.

Sorry. Send them an email.

ETA: I just found the answer for you - here you are: http://www.ttnc.co.uk/numbers/0871.do?gclid=COSC1fbi7JgCFRwpawodQQe50g

You can try using skype. If using a landline you may need to use an overseas code, such a 002. 001, depends on your phone company.

so, from a landline; 002 448714 266800

Can't believe you don't know this, haven't you phoned your mum yet?!

Remember the UK is 8hrs behind us, so lines may be closed at certain times.

Thanks for the replies. I'll be trying again in a couple hours when regular business hours start there.
