Just got a 6 and a half pound can.

Just dump them in a plastic container? Any idea how long they would keep?

I assume you bought them at Costco.

I bought a few jars of pasta sauce.

Then i put juice and them in the jars.

Then stored. I use one jar in the refrig at a time.

Plastic should be fine, although the container will likely never be the same after storing the jalapenos and the juice. Glass would probably be better.
