To be considered beautiful in Korea, you need: big eyes, a small, V-shaped face, long legs, and to be thin.

How thin is "thin"? Apparently, the following women are considered to be "fat": Song Hye-kyo, Kim Tae-hee, Son Dam-bi, and Lee Hyo-ri, among others.

Until Korean women stop subjecting themselves to plastic surgery and starving themselves to death, they're going to continue to allow stupid people to decide for them what the standards are for being thin. There's a point where fitness turns into an obsession, and it appears to have crossed way over that line here.

That article should be re-titled. I know most of my Korean friends think Shin Ae and Solbi are fat but none of them would say Song Hye Gyo, Son Dambi or Kim Tae Hee are. I don't think the latter are widely considered fat by Koreans while the former are.
