Does anyone know of any cheap places to stay that are close to Incheon airport ? That new town etc.....Preferably not the rumored place in the basement that may or may not exist.

Cheap place, no, but I do know a good place. A friend stayed there a couple of times, it's a brandnew hotel near Incheon airport (well, they're all new there I guess), Hotel Queen and I think he paid 80000 won for it. This is per room though, so if you're sharing it's not that bad. Every room has a steam sauna, that's why my friend likes it so much  And I think they have a PC in every room. |

Depends on what you mean by cheap, but I dont think youll find anything in that new town area for less than 60 or 70k. Factor in free shuttles to & from the airport & its not so bad a deal.
The sauna at the airport isnt a myth & would certainly be your cheapest option if youre comfortable in that environment. |
