I want to open an interest-bearing CD or savings account in Korea with about $10K USD, currently in a US bank account. I don't plan to withdraw the money until at least one year from now, when I need to pay for surgery here.

Can anyone recommend the best (combination of rates and foreigner-friendliness) bank and option to get this done? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
