So, I like to watch movies... I don't care for chick-flicks or westerns that much and I even like most mainstream movies. Recently, i've watched some movies that i just couldn't seem to finish because i got bored:

The House Bunny
Dan, in real life
Lawrence of Arabia
Thick as Thieves

Anyone else have movies that they just couldn't finish?

Don't think I've ever been able to get all the way through The Last Emperor. Tried once on cable, once on tape, even paid to see the director's cut in the theater but had to leave for work before it was over. Downloaded The Love Guru last week to see if it was as bad as they said, took me three days to get through it. Lays on the screen like a dog with no legs and no tail as the saying goes. Abandon all hope etc... etc...

"the Deal" hasn't ever found me quite bored enough to come back and finish it.
Actually, I rarely get through a movie in one sitting these days. My attention span has been ruined by too many one hour television shows and my lifelong quest for instant gratification.
When I can watch a movie in one go, it's definitely a good 'un...

Before Sunset

I don't know why this trite, 1.5 hour conversation is regarded as highly as it is, pure boredom. Oh yes, also Dellamorte Dellamore, but only because I couldn't get any subtitles for the copy I downloaded and haven't yet tried again.

Domino - with Keira Knightley

It seems like a good movie at first glance (Keira is hot!), but the combination of american white trash and LA sleaze was just too much bare, and I felt like going to wash my socks instead of watching to the end.

Godzilla and The Mod Squad ... good god! The worst movies ever! Both movies I watched randomly at the mall with friends and it's been the only time I had to leave the theaters early. Pure torture!

I fell asleep in The Matrix. It must be a generation thing. It's on my list of worst movies ever conceived.

Saving private Ryan, anything by Clint Eastwood. With "You Don't Mess with the Zohan" I actually left the cinema.

Oliver Stone's new movie 'W.', about A$$hole W. War-criminal was stark awful too. Even though it was mildly critical of the war criminal, I couldn't bare to watch it for more than 10 minutes.

Braveheart I just had to fast forward through the endless gratuitous pointless detailed killing scenes and that Benjamin Button film I had to leave the theater twice because taking a leak I could have waited to do and getting more popcorn was more fun than watching it.

this movie was not even worth the 100 won I spent on the cd to burn it.

Two I can never get through are Baz Lurhman's Romeo and Juliet and Moulin Rouge, not because they are not clever, but rather they are just to much of an assault on my senses.

Braveheart may be the worst best picture ever, and that is saying a lot considering that Gladiator and Driving Miss Daisy won.
