|

I'm in Newfoundland and the nearest Korean consulate is in Montreal.
My recruiter suggested that I get all my documents ready while they search for a job for me. He said to send my criminal background check to the Korean consulate to get notarized (or apostilled or whatever) and I also sent a certified copy of my degree.
I just got a message from the consulate saying that I need to also send money, a photocopy of my passport, transcripts, and "everything else" too.
I figured I would have to send "everything else" later in the Visa process but do I need to send this stuff now? |

You should have several and don't send documents until you know for certain, 100%, you want that job. That recruiter is just trying to make sure you go with them and not another recruiter. |

So you're saying that I shouldn't send anything to the Korean consulate until I've chosen a job? I'm just trying to speed up the process by having a fully notarized degree and criminal check ready to go when I make my decision. |

There's no use sending any of that till you have a contract. They can't process you without an employer.
Get it together (and get multiples), but don't send it yet. |
