while sandman and punisher were antiheroes, galactus and the joker were not.
the anti hero is still the protagonist of the story. galactus and joker are antagonists
yes, there have been stories where galactus and joker were the central characters. so it could be argued that in those stories, they were the anti-heroes. but in overall mythos of the dc and marvel universes, they are villains. complex villains. maybe anti-villains, since they the complement to the anti-hero. but not anti-heroes |

Sorry you are right that was terrible wording on my part. I did mean Joker and Galactus as villians, while Sandman as antihero.
