That's right...the usually "sad sack" jaj actually feels good today.

Why? I think it was because I actually did a little exercise and cleaned up my room.

Sometimes it's amazing how simple things can cheer a soul up.

I just felt like letting "the world" know.

Well, I feel terrible. In fact, if I could afford a decent razor blade I'd shave off this damn stubble.

Good for you, Jaj. I did bugger-all today and I feel pretty good too Smile. Mind you, I feel pretty good most days (it's amazing how good each day out of a wheelchair can feel Very Happy). So far it's been nearly 14 years.

Wow... 14 years later and happy to be a walker?!

Cool.

Even yesterday, in the strange way we humans are, a show on Sudan on the BBC was on, and it cheered me up. I thought, damn I've got shoes!

It's sad to see people having it rough, but reminders of one's own deal sometimes come in packages of perspective.

I went with my girlfriend and made a special trip to see a little 10 year old who's had a crush on me for the last 2 years and just got back from living in NJ. I've never seen someone so happy and so embarrassed at the same time before.

It made my day. For an unwarranted second I felt like a nice guy.

other than that I'm madly in love (not with the 10 yr old) so I'm having difficulty pulling my head out of my a$$.

What's the story with the wheelchair Sleepless?

jajdude,

the couple times i've ran into you in Seoul.. you seemed absolutely fine. Your online image and yourself in reality is quite a bit different.

Before I met you, I perceived you as kind of awkward or some kind of huge blemish of some sort that weighed on your soul (or something). In real life, nothing of the sort.

Still think you look like a Jewish New Yorker though.. Cool

I'm using a GIllette disposable with some sort of white strip on the blade. My first few months here I struggled mightily trying to find something that wouldn't kill me - and most days something that would kill me.

I have to teach the boss's son one on one everyday. I think he hates it more than I do, if that's possible. Yeah, i give myself a 5/10 most of these days.

MACH 3

The only way to shave I say as I run my hand down the three day old stubble that I couldnt be arsed shaving as I was late to work.
Being happy is as easy as listening to your favourite song, seeing a picture of your favourite place in the world, or talking to your mum on the phone.

Thanks for the feedback, Tiger. I guess I just post here about negativity more than I actually talk to real people about it?

Nothing better than feeling good.

Except for a hiccup here and there I've been feeling it all my life.

I got access to the apt. rooftop today, the key to the door at the top of the stairs, the vast, open, concrete empty penthouse if you will. Which will become a garden of vegetables and wheatgrass planters (I juice wheatgrass). And a place to build boomerangs, do tai chi, etc. The only person in the apt. with access; the haggie boss owns the three storey apt., too.

I was feeling pretty PO'd this morning because I can never sleep past 5 because of no AC and no barriers to light. I got some curtains today so I'm feeling happy about the possibility of sleeping for at least 5 hours a night. I think it might also be making my apartment cooler or maybe it was just a cool day. Only 30 degrees in my apartment at the moment. Let's see about tomorrow though.

Damn AC units though were all over 500,000 won. I'm not paying that for 2 months worth of use. I found something for 115,000 but it was probably just a glorified fan. My curtains were only 23,000 and I would have gladly paid more.
