| So my boyfriend and I will be heading to Busan sometime next week. We'll be living in Hwamyeong, and would love to meet some new people. Is there anyone from this area, or Busan in general, that would like to hang out? We're really fun, totally up to try some new things, down for drinking or just hanging out. Lemme know! :D |

There's a bunch of bars very near P.N.U...you can meet all sorts of other foreigners there if that's what floats your boat.
Also down by Heyundai beach there's a couple of bars, and a fairly crappy casino...you'll see loads of 'waegukin' (the korean word for 'sub-Korean dog-human') around there.
Right on for you! Busan is a cool city with lots of great people in it.
I think there's a website much like this one called 'busanweb,' too...wait, lemme check...ah! here it is.

Good luck! |

| I used to live near Hwamyeong but just moved to Suncheon this week. Hwamyeong is a lot quieter than PNU, Kyungsung, Seomyeon etc but it's good to have some quiet now and then. From Hwamyeong you have numerous buses going to all parts of the city (all of the places listed above as well as Busan Station for KTX, although Gupo would be better). I hope you have some fun while you're there and you can adapt. |
