I'm a newbie. I'll be arriving in Korea on Saturday, February 28th, in the evening. I start work on Monday, March 2.

So, that only gives me one day to initially get settled, Sunday. I discovered that this Sunday, March 1 is Independence Day/Samiljeol. I, of course want to go shopping that day for supplies.

Will stores and restaurants be open Sunday, Independence Day?
