G'day, has anyone got a link for that story?
I want to show someone but since the search engine here blows, no luck.
Please post the link if you have it.

Just be thankful he was using a cup. They don't use cups here (China) and the supermarket floor is just as good as a toilet. Oh don't I wish I was making this up. |

I remember reading a book back home titled "The Chinese book of Health and Healing" which said essentially that according to traditional Chinese medical practices, holding urine, gas, or feces n the body even for a short time would lead to bad health, and people were encouraged to let any of them go whenever they felt the need. I had no idea that people may practice that in modern times to the extent that even in a supermarket it would be acceptable.
In a slightly different direction, I have never seen this kind of thing done it a restaurant in Korea, however I opened the door to the laundry room of my building last week to find what could only be described "anal explosion" on the wall with a small, plastic bowl on the floor half full with you know what....based on the height of the explosion, it's safe to say this was no child..
The idea that someone off the street can walk into my building and relieve themselves in a laundry room, then turn around and leave and go about their way has become a "not so shocking" occurrence, as it might have been a few years ago.
Actually I took a picture and showed the 부동산 employees in hopes that someone would clean that up. More than 9 days later, it is still there!!!
Thankfully I have a washer in my apartment, but perhaps I should make a poster of that pic, write "Korea Sparkling" on it, and tape it onto the window of the 부동산! |

Nasty story. But why would you expect the real-estate agency to clean it up? It seems like something to bring up with the building manager or cleaning lady if there is one. |

I would not expect them to clean it,but since they are hired by the owner to maintain the building, I would expect them to notify the cleaning crew that there is a "situation" in the laundry room that needs to be addressed. |
