If I taught after school classes, would I be able to get a part-time job in the morning? Has anyone doing this? Is it too hard? |

It's doable. However if you're on an E2 it's ILLEGAL! But alot of people do privates, I used to do them before my current job. Advance at your own risk.

There is a legal way to work 2 jobs but you need permission from your primary employer(visa sponsor), and immigration has to be notified and a fee paid. For some reason your 1st job(visa sponsor) has to be a private school/academy/hagwon and second job must be public school, not the other way around. At least that was how it was when I had 2 part-time jobs last year.
Also, you can't work more hours in the second job than in the first.
Again, I hasten to add the caveat that that is how it was explained to me when I did it. But things change.
But in general, yes, you can legally work 2 jobs.!! |
