Have any of these things actually failed, gone bankrupt, or closed yet?

I don't know about bankruptcy or closing, but I think they've all failed.

How long will these white elephants / cash cows have to continue making almost zero impact before the government will look to more effective means? I wonder what % of FTs in Korea now work at such places.

They are government funded, so pretty much receive blank checks. I'd like to hear of any that no-longer have government funding and are surviving. Someone's making a lot of money out of this.

SEV Gwanak Camp will mainly offer nonresidential programs that students can attend, unlike the other two camps, where students usually stay for a few days.

So students will only attend for a single day? That has failure written all over it. May as well send them to Everland. Unless they've invested the money into some kind of Matrix 'I know kungfu' machine.

Love how they sate they'll use the EXCELLENT resources of SNU. I knew a "professor" who woked there who actually couln't teach his way out of a paper bag. "Movie class" was his usual.

This is how they cover up the fact that few of the workers actually speak English. They use "activities" like this-

From the looks of things Paju EV is just a filming set nowadays anyway. Probably not much of a stretch to say people are more interested in going to see Boys Over Flowers stuff than to play with the white people.
