Is there anybody out there studying for the "Cisco Certified Network Associate / Professional (CCNA / CCNP)" in their free time?
Do any of you have a home lab setup in Korea?

Can't really help you, but I know being Cisco certified is notoriously difficult. I've heard rumours that nobody passes on their first try, not sure if the rumours are try. |

The CCNA is a cakewalk if you study. The CCNP is more difficult. I actually went through the cisco academy for both the CCNA and CCNP as part of college. However the company I ended up working for didn't need the certs and since you had to renew them so frequently, I opted on not taking them. It didn't get me a pay increase.
One of my classmates got his CCIE in routing and switching about a month ago. But this guy is a serious study and cert machine. He's racked up CCNA/P/IE, Security+, Network+ (he had that before the Cisco stuff), MCSE 2003, and another one I forget.
Unfortunately because of the economy he's not in a position to move to another job right now. |
