It's at 2pm, at the Seoul National Central Museum (i.e. perhaps it's SNU's campus museum?), on Korean cultural heritage. 135 Seobinggo Road is the address.

Anyone else heard of this?

My co-teacher gave me the option to go if I want to but I am wondering if anyone knows how long it will be? I'm not sure if I will go, but if I head into the city I'd like to be able to do some stuff while there...

Another one eh?

I mentioned that people should ask questions directly regarding their contracts to GEPIK. Interestingly, I wasn't invited and no one seemed to ask the difficult questions.

Hopefully that won't happen again but perhaps that is why GEPIK only invites certain people to these things.

gee, I'm SO upset that I couldn't be at school to learn about this "fascinating" cultural workshop replete with "Korean food".

I guess my coordinator wasn't at school either, because she's leaving for a different school and school doesn't open until Mar 2.

I guess it's with "deep regret" that I'll just have to miss it Very Happy

Hamsters are DELICIOUS in a sesame leaf with a little gochu-jang, a clove of garlic and some shredded onions marinated in soy sauce. Wink

If it's at the National Museum, it should be interesting. The Museum staff will probably be "weirded out" by seeing so many foreigners in one place. The staff usually freaks out when they see even one foreign face. Laughing

Make sure you visit the gift shop because it has many nice things to send home for gifts.

Would be interesting, but why does a public school system arrange activities on a weekday when teachers are scheduled to be at school? I know it's winter break, but they should know the contracts teachers sign allow for schools to make teachers stay at the school. This means teachers cannot go.

They should really arrange these things on weekends. So, whoever is going, please tell them this.

b/c if it's arranged by the public school system, then it counts as a business trip so you're allowed to go..? The sheet my coteacher showed me was stamped by my school just like all the other letters describing any activity related to school that needed approval. Would you rather it be on a weekend and do work related things on your time off? >_>
