I need my teeth cleaned, and in Canada I used to go to my local university where dental assistants cleaned your teeth for free/cheap as part of their training.

Does this kind of program exist around Seoul anywhere? Have you got it done?

I have no health or dental insurance. What's the price of a cleaning at a regular dentist?

The reason I ask is because I noticed a tartar deposit that needs to be taken care of.

I wouldn't exactly be thrilled to have unqualified students stick sharp metal hooks in mouth. I hate the dentist as it is.

What about teeth whitening? Anyone know a good, relatively inexpensive place in seoul?

^ I'd like the same information.

Has anyone been to the Sahmhyook college to get their teeth cleaned before? Is it much different than going to a "regular" dentist?
