I was wondering if the Korean pension is controlled by the hagwon or the government. When you end your contract or the employment suddenly ends, how do you make sure you collect the pension that was deducted from your salary?
Yeah, I have an hourly contract when they deduct 9% of my monthly salary. The reason for this is that I will be payed hourly bases and 120 hours of work would equate to 4mil. I would have to pay my own medical insurance, housing and pension but I did my homework and this would leave me with 3.2mil after all the deductions.
FYI... I have F-4 visa. |

I received this from a recruiter
Some hagwons joined Pension plan but some didnt. If your hagwon joined Pension plan, they will deduct 4.5 % of your gross income each month. |

My first recruiter 'ddong-chimed' me from the far side of the Pacific Ocean. I made the second one buy me dinner, booze and put me up in a nice hotel for the night before I would give him my documents. |
