|
|
A german guy I know is thinking of working in Korea.
Since he isn't a native speaker of English, he's having trouble finding work as an English teacher. He also speaks Korea,
Just curious if anyone knows of any institutions that teach German or other European languages? |

A lot of universities offer German, I'm not sure if they hire native speakers though. There are also a surprising number of German business interests here, perhaps some translation work? |

I know one German guy who teaches German at a foreign language high school in Seoul, so it's possible I guess. That school also has native teachers for Chinese etc. |

I doubt it. I could've used my Swiss passport to teach German, French or Italian here even though I suck at the languages. Knowing Korea, I probably would've still been the best teacher at the institute. |
