Hi there,

I'm starting to apply for jobs in Korea and was wondering: is it easy and possible to get 6 month (or 7 or 8 month) contracts?
If yes: is it possible to extend your stay by 1 or 2 months at the end of the 6 month period (I actually want to stay for about 7-8months I think)

I noticed a few jobs that sound good however the job ad states it's a 1 year contract. Do you think I should submit my resume anyway stating that I'm only available for 6-8 months or is it not worth the hassle? (if it makes a difference I have teaching qualifications and a bit of experience)

Also what contract conditions should I expect for a 6 month contract as opposed to a 1 year (e.g. one-way airfare? accomodation still included? etc.)

Thanks in advance for your help!
diana
