Why is it that at middle schools you only get short curly haired saggy skinned adjumas coming in as new teachers? Why can't I have something more appealing on the eye to look at. Is it too much to ask for a decent looking new teacher in the office.

Most of the teachers today appear to have dressed up as if in a period drama.

Old teachers - not one of them has created any lesson plans, even though all of them are using a new text book for the first year, none of them came in last week to collect the new books that were delivered. So none of them can create a lesson tailored to the books. Boxes are just being opened now, only to get out the free USB 2GB stick that came with it.

They are an odd bunch.

The first day is not important so there's no need for lesson plans and as far as I've seen K teachers don't really prepare much before class.

This year my lovely, wonderful K head teacher was replaced by a 59 year old ajosshi. Now that's something to complain about.

Just spotted one nice looking one who has been hidden away upstairs in the other office.

Sadly she still has that short permed hair. Adjuma preparation cut.

Not a single new teacher at my school this year. But the new grade one HS textbooks still haven't arrived and apparently no one's yet put any thougt into how we're going to teach from them.

Almost all of my teachers are young, and most of them are hot too. I'm in a relationship so I don't care anyway, but all of the hot male teachers are married, and the hot women are not. The hot women love to joke about this. And the hot women really are hot, some of them are stunning!

It's funny though, I think my hot male co-teachers are THE HOTTEST Korean men I've seen in my 6 months in K. The new batch brought more hot dudes than females, and it seems like all of the oldies stayed and a few of the young hotties left, but there's not a single perm between both of my schools! Yowza.

Still the same hatchet faced adjummas here. Zoot suitin' Mr Kim is as shiny as ever and looking disappointed at the lack of talent. They have transferred the attractive but dimwitted admin woman from my other school to my main one which means she is going to be dealing with my severance and final payments... Aaah! She couldn't even organise my friggin lunch payments how the *beep* will she be able to...oh never mind.

And not one of my teachers speaks English. Not one. Including the admin woman.

So Young, don't tell me that's the first time you've heard that? Fresh off the boat are we?

Hot tip: Funny Korean names are limited to Bruce Lee (for a girl), Eric Shin, and anything involving Suk. (personal favourite is Yoo Suk Mi)
