For Sale: A motorcycle in wonderful condition

Daelim 125 RR is in great condition: New tires, new air-filter, new oil and it runs amazing. It has been taken care of. I, luckily, never crashed.

I would rather not sell her but I'm leaving and it would be both expensive and impractical to buy a seat for her.

It's a great beginner bike. Its zippy and small, yet big enough to go fast. It's a great way to learn how to drive while here and if you want to, when you go home get your self a more expensive bike (that's what I'm going to do) seeing you'll be experienced and learned. Oh and since it's a 125 you don't need a motorbike license, you can use a regular drivers license.

Think about this. You're cooking some tomato sauce and you're like, "Oh man! I need more garlic, but the store is like a ten min walk! That may ruin my sauce. I'm up a creek!" and then you're like, "Oh wait! My Daelim 125 RR! I can fly down to the store in and back in like one maybe one and a half seconds (Yeah she's that fast)."

Just think about it. It's 400,000 won and comes with a wonderfully strong lock. I have pictures and will be happy to let you take her for a test drive. I also have a sweet helmet aval.

Let me know,

Joseph 010-3034-8230

I don't really see driving on the opposite side of the road being that big a deal. My friend from Scotland had a bike over here and he got over it after a few rides. I also, when I was in the Bahamas, took a couple of excursions. I was fine with driving on your side.

The fact that you have driven a manual bike helps. It's the same principle. The gas is in the same place, the clutch is in the same place both brakes are in the same place and the gears are exactly the same.

The costs are minimal. Most repairs are done for free (a lot of guys will hook you up) you just have to pay for parts. The tires cost around 80,000 the battery was about 50,000 and spark plugs are a min. cost. Gas and oil are both cheep (you don't use much of either). The air-filter I changed was a must but you hardly need to do it.

I don't have mine registered, and don't have insurance. I think you may defiantly want to do both of those. If you know a Korean they can help at the DMV, however, it's not that hard to do it yourself. Since it's a 125 cc you don't need any special license you just need your regular UK drivers license. What you do is go down and trade it in.

You can park pretty much any where you can get the damn thing. If you look around cars park on the sidewalk. I try to be more discrete and park where I see other motorbikes or scooters. I've never had any hassles.

I have a few other questions but am keenly interested, it would be great to something to get way to the coast on in the summer.

There is a problem with taking it to the coast. Koran law prohibits all two wheeled vehicles from the major highways, it doesn't matter the size (you can have a 1000 cc Harley). However, getting to the coast wouldn't be impossible it would just a hell of a lot of time. You would have to take all back roads and avoid the hwys.

I have to let you know I have a first offer. It's 350,000 won, but you know how this business goes. Someone can back out at any time.

Thanks for the interest,

Joseph

What is a Daelim RR? I can't find anything online about an RR model. 400k for 125cc anything is a good deal.

I have been wondering myself, as it would appear that I will be heading to Daegu this weekend.

Is this sold? I know it's been a few weeks since this was posted, but I can't get the OP on the phone. I'm hunting for a 125cc motorcycle. Would love to score on Saturday. Wink
