| Is there a large store or stores in Daejeon where I can purchase a guitar? Can someone tell me the best place to go. I want to buy a Fender Stratocaster but I also want to look at some others, so large selection is important. I don't know Daejeon very well but I know the subway and can take a cab -- if I have the right directions. Thanks. |

A couple years ago I bought a guitar in 은행동 (Eun Heng Dong), or the old downtown before Dunsan replaced it. You can find some guitar shops in that area. There wasn't a great variety of guitars though, especially foreign brands.
Your best shot for a large selection is to visit Seoul, at say 낙원 상가 (Nagwon Arcade) in Jongno. But anywhere in Korea, you'll pay out the nose for a genuine American brand of guitar. |
