I'm trying to discover what the interest rate is on our pensions. I've learned that it is about the market interest rate.

I can deposit the same money into a time deposit account for about 3.5% right now, given the crisis. That would at least match the rate I'm paying on my student loans.

Is the market rate lower, higher?

Anyone have a solid number on our pension interest rate?
