|
|
Anyone had a problem getting severance pay, then got it only by threats of going to the labour board or actually going? My severance pay is worded as an iffy "bonus" (and only half the monthly salary) contingent upon "causing no problems."
I am considered a "part time" worker. What does part time here mean? I can't seem to find an exact definition- how many hours per week? My contract doesn't say "part-time" on it, but 4 hours/week makes me think it is.
I have read that 1-month severance pay is mandatory for full-time workers, despite what the contract says. Has anyone ever gotten anything they were "supposed" to get when it wasn't written on the contract? As if!!! |

So you've been on this board for 2/1/2 years or nearly, and you're asking questions without giving nearly enough information on your situation, and expect an answer.
Please provide MORE information, then we'll be glad to help ya.

I would like to know the answer to this question too. Granted, she doesn't provide enough information, however what she is getting at is a valid question.
If a school has booked your flights and delays paying severance until the last minute- then not giving you a full amount or stiffing you, what help is there?
Any advice please, I fear my place might pull this crap. |
