I wouldn't imagine it'd be an issue.. But if you're really worried you could always just mail it to yourself. Stuff is dirt cheap to mail from here. |

You can buy them here. Look around the areas close to the bases. |

What do you mean?
I have the transformers in my apartment in Seoul
I wanna carry one back, my friend the other, rather than mailing them
Just wanna check if my bag would get flagged or not? It is an odd thing

Just throw in a dildo and they won't even notice the converter. |

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were on your way to Korea. Um, I guess if it's a big deal to take them home, just fly with them in cargo? You'll have to pay more, but it can't be extravagant. Just work out whether it's cheaper to pay that, or to spend $80 once you get home. It might be pretty similar. Good luck, though. |

it depends on if they check your carry on luggage. I was lucky when i used my carry ons they were filled to the brim with hard drives and electronics. Sure, checking them was a pain but at least I got my 20kg carry on without having to pay the huge additional fees |

shipping is also pretty cheap, that's another decent option. Taxes shouldn't be applied for a used converter. |

That doesn't sound right at all.. Is that by air and like next day or something? Because in my exp I've sent home tons and tons of stuff and never had it cost even close to that |

I bought a step up converter the size of a regular AC adapter in an airport in Canada. Step up is a very simple transformation, most of the bulk of your converters are used in the step down part, which you don't need in North America. |
