| Well, yes and no. Yes, he's trying to tamp down drive by shootings from the mouth by staff like Holder and, yes, he probably really believes things are on the mend racially, as he acknowledge in his second book three years ago, but the more pertinent question is whether he believes Blacks themselves contribute to the lingering malaise? [see my thread on this score]. |

I take him at face-value on this position on moderate rhetoric, ManintheMiddle. I take him at face-value on national-security and foreign relations as well. He has earned it; he continues earning it; he is doing very well here.
As far as the rest, that remains to be seen. |
