sorry if this is in the wrong place. I did a search, but it wasn't working.

I need to get car insurance. I am buying a car on Saturday. Anyone have a number to an agent that speaks English?

Thanks,

Patrick

If you want cheap insurance, but don't absolutely require English service:

I use the same company as the Korean teachers at my PS. It was the cheapest quote I could find from anyone, but they dont have english service. If you can get a Korean to help you out, you could probably save some cash. The company is called EduCar and I know teachers use it cause it's cheap, but not sure sure if hagwon employees or just anyone can use it, but you can give it a shot. Worst they can do is say no.

What does liabilty only run with EduCar? I know that there are variables to determine this, but I'm just trying to get a ballpark estimate. Thanks!

I dont recall exactly, but I have every type coverage offered except for damages to my car. So all liability - both personal and property - is covered, and the only thing I pay for is the damage to my car.

My total for everything, including the extras i wanted, is just over 400 000 for the year for a 2000 Matiz. I think it was 150 000 or so to get the extra coverage over the minimum basic.

All other quotes I got for just basic coverage, started at or was higher than the EduCar price that included the extra coverage I requested.

Thanks for the response. That is about the same that I pay with Hyundai Hi-Car Direct without collision. I was just trying to get a point of reference for myself. Thanks again!
