Just trying to get an insight to any options that I might have.

I am probably wrong, but I understand the Korean public school teachers who do some sought of post-graduate studies that relates to the field of education and their job get time off work. That is, time off that doesn't interfer with their class schedule. So they are allowed to leave earlier than normal for exams to study or group meetings or anything related to their studies - within certain boundaries.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

The reason why I ask is that I am doing my masters degree in TESOL at a University in Korea while working full time at a public school.

Am I entitled to said benefits (as Korean teachers) if they exist?

Cheers for any input.
