This public school signed a contract and I received visa confirm. The school then asked me to get a bank account to put the money in and the bank issue became a problem at the bank.

The school found an apartment that had not enough room for the furniture or bathroom which was not even finished its stages of occupation.

The school cancelled the visa with the immigration officer who contacted them telling them it was wrong. The Labor Board contacted the school telling them it was wrong. The school asked the Labor Board to provide proof that they were indeed the Labor Board from their letterhead. So far, no one will be teaching as a native teacher at this school as 1 cancelled, 2 have not gotten the correct documents and one is in process. I was the only one ready to go to Japan and the school did not know how to get me the money for the visa run.

Anyone encounter such a thing ...the Labor Board called the school several times about their unfair dismissal and breaching the contract; but, the school did not care.

pm for any responses please

Is English your 1st language? Maybe they noticed that your language ability was not up to scratch. Sorry if I am off base but I guess you have a passport from an English speaking country and you moved there from from a country with another langauge.

Sorry, D.D. I did not do enough of a check..a simple cursory glance and was trying to get it down fast as my cord kept slipping out of the back of my laptop and losing my connection.

My apologies..I said "had not enough room"..I should have said that there was barely enough room to move in the room..again...sorry.

This public school signed a contract and I received a visa confirmation number from immigration. The school then asked me to get a bank account to transfer funds from the school for the visa run. The bank said that I could not due to not having certification from the school or an ARC.

The school found an apartment that barely had enough room to walk in, never mind room for the furniture it was required to provide. The bathroom was standing room only. The apartment itself was still in its stages of reconstruction and uninhabitable.

The school cancelled the visa with the immigration officer who contacted them telling them it was wrong. The Labor Board contacted the school telling them it was wrong. The school asked the Labor Board to provide proof that they were indeed the Labor Board from their letterhead. So far, no one will be teaching as a native teacher at this school as 1 teacher cancelled, 2 have not gotten the correct documents, and one is in the initial processing stage from South Africa. I was the only one ready to go to Japan, and the school did not know how to get me the money for the visa run.

Anyone ever encounter such a thing? The Labor Board called the school several times about their unfair dismissal and breach of contract notifying them of the 30-day written notice if having over 5 employees; but, the school did not care.

Now, the tourist visa is up and I need to go out and come back in another 90-day visa. Suxx big time. Just have to follow the Labor Commission and file the Petition with the Commission itself.
