I'm planning soon to start applying for uni jobs for the fall semester (starting in Sep) but was wondering when the best time to do it would be. I remember last year seeing that many places were looking for people with sometime in May as their deadline. Yet I got my current uni job last minute in August.
Also are there any benefits to submitting my resume packet early (ie. this month) vs May?

Dec-Feb for the spring semester
June-Aug for the fall semester
Not much benefit in applying early I think. Your info would be probably be out of date/lost in the shuffle by the time hiring came around. |
